What is Granola?
Granola creates AI-enhanced meeting notes from device audio and your own notes. No meeting bot joins the call. Desktop capture uses microphone and system audio; the web interface supports viewing and editing existing notes rather than capturing meetings.
Granola does not retain audio as a recording archive. Notes and transcripts still have sharing and retention settings to review. Its security FAQ states that data is stored on AWS in the United States, correcting the previous Frankfurt claim on this page. Bot-free capture does not mean all processing stays on your device.
